About Glaze
Rethunk Junk by Laura® glazes can be used to accent details of your project like carvings, corners & recessed areas by creating depth and adding character. Use a heavy hand for a big impact or a light hand to just pop the details.
Application: Stir well. Apply with a brush being sure to work the glaze into the details you wish to accent. Wipe off gently with a damp cloth until you achieve the desired look.
Finish: Allow to fully dry and finish with Tuff Top to seal. -
About WASH
Rethunk Junk by Laura® washes are used to add subtle dimension to your project's finish. It is a translucent product that adds just a hint of depth to any project. Additional layers can be added for more dimension & we love to use WASH over paint, Stain Top & Glaze. Plus, the wash is also a protectant.
Application: Stir well. Apply in long even strokes using a brush. Allow to self-level.
Finish: WASH is also a protectant. No additional sealer is required. -
Can I use them both?
Yes! Actually one of our favorite tips is to use both Glaze & Wash together! Glaze adds dimension while Wash adds just a subtle depth AND provides a sealant over the glaze. Try one of our favorite combinations:
Vintage Vibe: Antique Brown Glaze with Black Pearl Wash creates that old, worn-in feel.
Lime Wash Wonder: Soft White Glaze with Vintage White Wash creates that softened, chalky white finish that looks like weathered, sun-baked perfection.
